9/11 and the Heroes of Flight 93
On the morning of September 11, 2001, Mahlon Fuller was just beginning his shift as the watch supervisor of Pittsburgh International Airport's control tower and radar room when two commercial airliners crashed into the World Trade Center.
In this presentation, Fuller recounts the events of 9/11; specifically those surrounding Flight 93, which was under Pittsburgh radar coverage before it crashed into a field in rural Pennsylvania.
It is the story of 40 ordinary people placed into an extraordinary situation, whose actions and self-sacrifice exemplify what it means to be a hero.
